Overview

Many poor girls in Bangladesh are raised to become house cleaners. The families live in small aluminum-covered homes in the slums and have very little hope to escape poverty.

The Light of Hope Center is a refuge for these girls. The center provides showers, healthy meals, quality education, medical and dental care, Bible training, and handicraft skills training.

     

The girls are brought into the center around age eight and are encourage to continue there until they get married.

​

The Light of Hope Center does just what the name says. It brings Jesus to people who have no hope. In other words, it is a faith-in-works-type ministry.
